The general objective of the project is to support innovation and increase the productivity of Clarity Solutions SRL by creating an innovative IoT communications platform based on LoRaWAN technology. The project, proposed for funding, aims to create an innovative specific communications platform for monitoring and protecting smart cities, with the help of sensory matrices and remote control elements, based on broadband Internet networks, Internet of Things (IoT), LoRa WAN. The development of the innovative platform within the company aims at increasing the economic competitiveness and the vertical integration of ICT solutions within the company. By fulfilling the general objective of the project, in line with the Competitiveness Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority Axis 2, Specific Objective 2.2, Investment Priority 2b, Action 2.2.1 “Supporting the growth of added value generated by the ICT sector and innovation in the field by development of clusters ”, the company Clarity Solutions SRL will develop its capacity and infrastructure for research-development-innovation and will benefit from the necessary support for the development of new, innovative services, which will contribute to increasing the quality and diversification of the company's services. the information systems market as well as the increase of competitiveness and the diversification of the services of the companies that are part of the “Internet of Things” Cluster. Clarity Solutions is a founding member of this cluster, whose main objective is to increase economic competitiveness in the field of information and communication technology and increase the institutional capacity to implement European policies, including the efficient use of reimbursable and non-reimbursable funds in the field of ICT.

Thus, it will contribute to the achievement of the general objective of the POC, respectively to support smart growth, to promote the economy based on knowledge and innovation, by investing in: consolidating research, technological development and innovation; increasing the use, quality and access to information and communication technologies. Through the general objective it proposes, the project is in accordance with the provisions of the National Strategy for Competitiveness 2015-2020.

In Romania, the following main objectives were established by the National Strategy for Competitiveness 2015-2020:

1. Development of the own research-development-innovation activities of the enterprises, including by promoting some support measures financed from national and European funds. Thus, it is presented as a priority the development within the sectors of intelligent specialization, of the integrated structures that bring together companies and research organizations with a similar and / or complementary profile (eg innovation clusters, competence centers);
2. Promoting the 10 economic sectors with competitive potential, including Information and Communication Technology.

Specific objectives of the project

1. Increasing private investment in IT&C, both within Clarity Solutions and at the "Internet of Things" cluster, by allocating the financial resources provided in the project budget;
2. Diversification of the offer of innovative services in the field of ICT, with high added value, throughout the 24 months of the project, as well as subsequently, in the period of maintaining the investment made through the project;
3. Acquisition of tangible fixed assets, within a period of 6 months from the signing of the financing contract, respectively of the hardware equipment and of the afferent devices necessary for the realization of the innovative platform;
4. Acquisition of intangible fixed assets - software applications and licenses necessary for the development of the innovative software application for the control and operation of the studio, within a period of 6 months from the signing of the financing contract;
5. Installation, configuration and testing of equipment for IoT innovation platform;
6. Carrying out industrial research activities in order to develop the innovative platform, through the acquisition of technical knowledge and contractual research;
7. Carrying out experimental development activities in order to develop the innovative platform through the acquisition of contractual research;
8. Carrying out the activities regarding the process and organizational innovation by internationalizing the company and the products and services sold by it following the implementation of the project;
9. Increasing the capacity of innovation and research, in order to increase the level of competitiveness of the company, by acquiring tangible and intangible assets with a high degree of novelty (state-of-the-art equipment), in a period of 12 months from the signing of the financing contract
10. Intensification of innovation activities within the company by contracting external consulting services in the field of innovation and for innovation support services;
11. Carrying out the final technical and financial audit of the project.
